The last Friday of each month in Downtown Huntington along 3rd and 4th Avenue between 8th and 11th Street. Enjoy a stroll and look/buy local art!
As the name suggests, a Nomad Gallery is not necessarily in a fixed location, encourages a spirit of exploration, and is a cooperative effort between artists/designers and real estate owners/developers. A Nomad Gallery serves the community because it provides additional space for artists to exhibit their work and brings foot traffic into properties that are available for lease or purchase.
The School of Art & Design at Marshall kicked off the 2016 Art Crawl season on Friday May 27 with the first Nomad Gallery. This month, the gallery was located at 901 4th Avenue (the former “Simply Whisk” kitchen store), and featured work from MU student’s and recent alumni, David Adkins, Allen Armel, Dane Blankenship, Grayson Collins, Megan Curry, Nathan Fouchs, Madeline Grant, Ashley Haycraft, Felicia Kavanas, Lydia Lake, and Ashley Taylor.
